Description

Conduct regular assessments and implement proactive maintenance measures for field instruments and control devices to ensure optimal functionality.

Responsibilities include the upkeep and calibration of sensors, transmitters, analyzers, gauges, and control valves to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Maintain the precision and dependability of all instruments at all times.

Responsibilities include performing calibration procedures for various instruments, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, pH meters, turbidity analyzers, chlorine analyzers, and conductivity meters.

Oversee the maintenance of calibration records and verify that instruments consistently achieve the required levels of accuracy.

Identify and resolve malfunctions within instrumentation and control systems to ensure operational integrity.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and service faulty instruments, signal cables, and control components, performing necessary repairs or replacements as required.

Provide prompt restoration of plant operations in the event of breakdowns.

Provide support for the upkeep of PLC panels, SCADA systems, and associated control circuits to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Verify input/(I/O) signals and field wiring connections to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the implementation of system modifications and upgrades.

Responsibilities include deploying new field instruments, assembling control panels, and installing signal wiring.

Collaborate effectively with operations, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure cohesive project execution.

Facilitate plant shutdowns, audits, and inspections as required.

Help enhance processes by ensuring instruments operate at peak efficiency.
