The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of inventory and warehouse operations, maintaining precise inventory records, adhering to established internal control policies, and leading warehouse staff effectively.

Accurately maintain inventory records and ensure financial data precision to uphold operational integrity and compliance standards.
Responsible for managing all inbound logistics, storage, order picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes in strict adherence to established company policies and internal control standards.
Ensure inventory valuation accuracy by implementing and adhering to FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) methodologies, as well as conducting regular cycle counts.
Oversee regular weekly and monthly stock counts, in addition to conducting unannounced physical inventory checks, to guarantee prompt and precise reporting of inventory balances.
Conduct daily cycle count reconciliations and complete full stock takes, meticulously investigating any variances that arise. Upon identifying discrepancies, promptly report findings to the operations manager to ensure accurate inventory records and operational efficiency.
Documentation and transaction processing responsibilities encompass the accurate and systematic recording, verification, and maintenance of financial and operational records, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulatory standards. This role involves meticulously processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating detailed reports to support organizational decision-making and auditing requirements. Attention to detail and adherence to procedural guidelines are essential to mitigate errors and uphold data integrity.
Oversee the creation of Goods Received Notes (GRNs), report any discrepancies, and manage inventory adjustments, ensuring adherence to the established approval hierarchy.
Maintain all mandatory logs, including access, goods receipt, dispatch, maintenance, and cycle count records, to ensure robust audit trail support.
Maintain thorough records of damaged, expired, and slow-moving inventory to facilitate accurate financial provisioning.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Design and execute robust internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate operational risks. Identify inefficiencies within existing processes, develop data-driven solutions, and implement improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess control gaps, recommend corrective actions, and document procedures to reinforce accountability and transparency. Monitor key performance indicators, conduct periodic reviews, and refine controls to adapt to evolving business needs and emerging threats.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required. Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in financial management or accounting, with at least three years in a leadership role, is essential. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is mandatory. Experience with ERP systems and financial software is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance is a must. Certification such as CPA or CFA is a strong plus.
A recognized Nigerian or international university must confer a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.

A proven track record of 3 to 5 years of progressive warehouse or inventory management experience is required, including a minimum of two years in a leadership role within Nigeria.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in Nigerian regulatory frameworks governing warehousing operations, including but not limited to compliance with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) guidelines, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) regulations for cosmetics and perfumes, as well as customs documentation protocols for imported luxury goods.
Individuals should possess in-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations concerning inventory write-offs, VAT on stock, and mandatory audit requirements.
