We are seeking Field Operators to collaborate with our Business Support team in person, conducting estate visits, engaging key decision-makers, facilitating onboarding processes, and ensuring operational efficiency at all deployed locations, as part of our ongoing growth.
The Role
This role is primarily field-based and involves direct interaction with people. You will serve as Access Gate’s local representative, uncovering opportunities, initiating conversations, facilitating client onboarding, and performing audits at active sites. Operating with substantial autonomy, you will be responsible for driving your own workflow, exercising proactive decision-making, and consistently achieving targets without routine oversight.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities include identifying and visiting target estates within your designated territory.
Interact with gate officers, facilities managers, and key decision-makers responsible for estate matters.
Facilitate the entire sales lifecycle, beginning with initial engagement and culminating in successful onboarding.
Perform on-site evaluations at properties where the Access Gate system has been implemented.
Compile and relay field findings, observations, and identified opportunities to the Business Solutions Office (BSO) and operations team for review and strategic alignment.
Always represent UTN professionally in the field.
What We Are Looking For
Proven expertise in Lagos, Abuja, or Port Harcourt, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of the city’s key estates, residential districts, and operational dynamics at the ground level.
Astute in both social dynamics and practical situations, you possess the ability to assess a group’s atmosphere, adapt your communication style accordingly, and establish credibility with diverse individuals in a short time.
Proficient in English and at least one of the following Nigerian languages: Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa, ensuring seamless communication without any linguistic obstacles.
A proactive professional who demonstrates independent initiative: you don’t wait for direction—you assess priorities and take decisive action to drive outcomes.
A highly reliable and confidential individual, you will serve as the liaison between UTC and estate residents, security personnel, and management.
Proficiency in field sales, community engagement, logistics, or customer-facing positions is highly beneficial.
Proficient in utilizing smartphones for reporting purposes, facilitating communication, and managing basic documentation tasks.
