Dover’s Dental Clinic is looking for an organized, proactive, and professional Operations & Administration Officer to assist with the daily operations of our expanding dental practice located in Leak Phase 1, Lagos.

The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with leadership, employees, and clients to uphold seamless clinic functionality, deliver outstanding patient care, and streamline administrative workflows.

Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to organizational standards, while driving efficiency and productivity across all assigned projects. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance performance metrics and align with long-term business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and foster innovation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, address deviations promptly, and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to cultivate a high-performing culture, ensuring professional growth and development. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to uphold operational integrity and risk management. Prepare and present detailed reports, analyses, and presentations to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Act as a liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment on strategic priorities.

Oversee the daily administration and operational functions of the clinic to ensure seamless functioning.

Ensure the meticulous maintenance and up-to-date documentation of patient records to uphold accuracy and compliance with established healthcare standards.

Assist in organizing staff schedules and managing operational coordination to ensure seamless workflow and efficiency.

Monitor stock levels of inventory and office supplies, assess procurement requirements, and ensure adequate availability to support operational activities.

Monitor financial transactions and support the preparation of administrative reports to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Collaborate on clinic marketing strategies and patient outreach efforts to enhance community engagement and drive appointment bookings.

Coordinate and oversee social media initiatives and content creation efforts as needed.

Maintain a professional, well-structured, and highly efficient clinic environment.

Develop, enforce, and continuously review clinic policies and operational procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

Assist with additional tasks as deemed appropriate by management to support operational needs and objectives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on backend systems; proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++; strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design; experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment; strong communication skills, both written and verbal; willingness to mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.

A relevant field of study, encompassing OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree qualifications, is required for this position.
