Job Details

Propel business expansion, enhance deposit accumulation, and boost revenue streams within the Oil & Gas industry.

Craft and implement strategies in alignment with the Bank’s established goals and objectives.

Foster strategic alliances and cultivate robust connections with Oil & Gas enterprises and pivotal industry stakeholders.

Conduct negotiations and develop structured financial and transactional solutions.

Oversee, mentor, and cultivate the growth of Relationship Managers and Business Development teams.

Evaluate performance metrics, operational pipelines, and progress toward business objectives to ensure alignment with established goals.

To uphold robust credit quality, implement effective risk management practices, ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards for Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols.

Act as the Bank’s ambassador at industry forums and stakeholder engagements, representing its interests and fostering strategic relationships.

Maximize revenue opportunities by strategically promoting Treasury, Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, and Digital Banking solutions to existing clients, ensuring seamless integration of complementary offerings to enhance customer value and deepen client relationships.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position: a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical training. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team is required. Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to continuous learning are also necessary to thrive in this role. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently. Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity is preferred but not mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, with additional qualifications considered beneficial.

A minimum of seven to ten years of relevant professional experience is required, ideally gained within the Oil & Gas, Commercial, or Corporate Banking sectors.

CBN certification is either mandatory or serves as a valuable asset, depending on the specific requirements of the role.

Accomplished in driving sales performance, cultivating strategic partnerships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

A solid grasp of the Oil & Gas sector’s operational landscape, associated risk factors, and applicable regulatory frameworks is essential.

Analytical prowess, leadership capabilities, and negotiation expertise are essential.
