Responsibilties

Provide patients with comprehensive information regarding the procedure, including its purpose, steps, potential risks, and expected outcomes to ensure they are fully informed and prepared.
Facilitate thorough preparation of patients for all procedures to ensure optimal readiness and comfort.
Review and analyze all incoming request forms thoroughly to ensure accurate understanding and processing of the information provided.
Inject contrast media into the patient by establishing venous access and administering the required dose.
Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy, as well as those in critical condition, with diligent oversight and continuous assessment.
Schedule patient appointments for procedures with precision and efficiency, ensuring optimal allocation of clinical resources and adherence to established protocols.
Before the start of each workday, the procedure rooms must be thoroughly prepared.
Maintaining rigorous infection control standards at all times is essential to this role.
Maintain strict adherence to protocols to safeguard patient well-being during all procedural activities.
Ensure the proper supervision and oversight of procedures by providing chaperone services as required.
Conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry tests during off-peak hours and at off-site locations.
Blood samples are collected as required to support diagnostic and clinical processes, ensuring accurate and timely patient assessment and treatment planning.
Conduct follow-up calls with patients to gather feedback regarding their post-procedure experience.
The requisition, proper allocation, and meticulous documentation of consumables is essential responsibilities.
Develop comprehensive patient care policies, design detailed flow sheets, patient instruction sheets, and individualized care plans.
Delivering consistently high-standard nursing care to every patient without exception.
Oversee and track the daily operations and performance of patient handlers to ensure adherence to established protocols and standards.
Collaborating effectively with diverse healthcare teams, including physicians, radiographers, physiologists, and other professionals, is essential to ensure comprehensive interprofessional coordination.
Skilled professionals must prepare and submit accurate reports, ensuring seamless documentation at the conclusion of each shift.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
Seeking candidates with one to three years of hands-on experience in the diagnostic nursing field.
A currently active professional license is required for this position.
Proficiency in performing and interpreting ECG, Spirometry, and Audiometry investigations is required.
Attention to detail and proficiency in accurately identifying patients are essential qualities for this role.
