bout You and The Role

Lipline’s autonomous drone system, capable of long-range operations, has already facilitated the delivery of millions of medical products throughout Africa.

We are actively growing our operations in Nigeria and are in search of a Construction and Deployments Lead to manage all construction and deployment initiatives across the country.

This senior position oversees the establishment of Lipline distribution centers nationwide, spearheading in-country teams and ensuring flawless execution from site acquisition and permitting to construction, vendor oversight, and operational handover.

You will act as the primary liaison between local teams and global stakeholders in Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and Partnerships, guaranteeing that every launch complies with Lipline’s global standards while aligning with Nigeria’s regulatory and operational requirements.

As a dynamic builder, strategic leader, and systems-oriented thinker, you excel in navigating intricate challenges, fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders, and driving impactful outcomes at scale.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement deployment strategies, as well as oversee their execution, for every new Lipline distribution center established across Nigeria.

Provide leadership in aligning cross-functional efforts between Nigeria-based teams and global stakeholders, guaranteeing smooth implementation of various deployments while consistently fulfilling partner requirements.

Collaborate effectively with Nigerian governmental bodies, regulatory authorities, and municipal agencies to obtain necessary permits, secure approvals, and foster productive working partnerships.

Locate and secure locations that satisfy Lipline’s technical, operational, and business standards.

Construct and oversee a robust network of Nigerian suppliers and contractors, guaranteeing cost-effective, high-quality, and dependable site operations.

Oversee local budgets, schedules, and resource allocation while strategically balancing immediate delivery with cost efficiency and sustainable operational performance.

Assemble, mentor, and guide a team of deployment project managers to ensure their successful recruitment and ongoing professional growth.

Capture and utilize lessons learned to systematically enhance Lipline’s global deployment playbook.

Deliver concise, evidence-based reports to leadership regarding progress, potential risks, and overall performance.

What You’ll Bring

With a minimum of eight years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or program management—at least three of which must have been in a leadership capacity—you will bring a strong foundation of industry expertise to this role.

Delivered large-scale, technically complex projects in Nigeria from inception through completion with demonstrated success.

Seasoned professionals with significant exposure to interactions with Nigerian regulatory authorities, licensing procedures, and the local contractor network are strongly encouraged to apply.

Capable of effectively leading and developing project teams within the host country.

Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, enabling effective prioritization and strategic tradeoff decisions amidst high-pressure scenarios.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities are required, enabling effective representation of Lipline in interactions with partners, contractors, and governmental authorities.

A systems-oriented mindset is required, characterized by the capacity to develop scalable processes that are tailored to the local environment.

Thriving in dynamic and unpredictable settings requires a steadfast commitment to perseverance, adaptability, and resilience.

Capable of dedicating over half of work time to extensive travel throughout Nigeria, meeting all travel demands with flexibility and reliability.
