The Role

As a Phone Servicing Technician stationed in Nigeria, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity of our infrastructure. Based primarily in our warehouse facility, your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and restoring devices to optimal working condition, addressing both hardware malfunctions and software-related issues, while also ensuring thorough documentation to uphold quality standards across all operations. Reporting directly to the Phone Servicing Lead, you will collaborate closely with a skilled technical team to deliver efficient and reliable service solutions.

This position requires on-site presence at our offices in Nigeria, where you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of professionals from our various markets and locations spanning the UK, Europe, and Africa. You will report directly to the Senior Lead of Phone Returns.

What You’ll Be Doing

With specialist tools, you identify hardware and software faults, execute repairs, and conduct comprehensive post-repair testing while maintaining meticulous records for each device processed—ensuring no issues go undetected and customers receive timely service.

Effectively conveying technical issues and repair results to customers, while working in tandem with colleagues and leadership to address intricate cases that exceed routine troubleshooting.

Delivering both high productivity and rapid turnaround times without sacrificing quality is essential, as neither is negotiable.

What You’ll Need

A secondary school certificate, complemented by a pertinent technical qualification, is essential, alongside a minimum of two years of practical experience in mobile phone repair and servicing.

Skilled in utilizing phone repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and service software, with a strong track record of effectively resolving intricate issues autonomously.

Demonstrates consistent, detail-driven work habits alongside a polished and professional demeanor in all customer-facing interactions, with proficiency in asset management systems and service ticketing tools.
