Oversee and execute key operational tasks to ensure seamless business functionality, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high productivity standards. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to uphold organizational integrity and mitigate risks. Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess team and individual contributions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across departments. Executes maintenance tasks on plant mechanical equipment with precision and ensures accurate reporting to the Sectional Engineer.
Devises and adheres to established operational methods within the domain, establishing structured procedures and guaranteeing their successful execution.
Ensures meticulous planning of work and resource allocation, utilizing methods and performing assigned tasks as directed in the CMMS or by the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, and subsequently finalizing documentation in SAP.
The incumbent is tasked with overseeing the team’s mission and objectives while conducting performance evaluations, ensuring the quality of on-site deliverables, and fostering motivation among team members.
Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations among all subordinates within operational areas.
Weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance tasks are reviewed with planners to align with production requirements. Collaboration with planners ensures maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in accordance with production demands.
Monitor and evaluate the spare parts inventory in collaboration with the planner, ensuring all items are accurately documented and reviewed. Prepare and update the spare parts list as necessary to maintain its relevance and completeness for operational needs.
Responsible for ensuring the availability and proper management of all tools essential for the daily execution of tasks, in accordance with established departmental procedures.
Assist in conducting in-depth investigations to identify the fundamental causes of critical failures occurring within the plant.
Adheres to established policies in all daily operations, consistently participates in departmental meetings, enforces management directives with team members, and reports outcomes to the senior mechanical manager.
Stays continually updated on standard plant procedures to effectively fulfill on-call responsibilities.
Ensure that all Permits, Assessments, and Audit-related files are properly documented and filed for tracking purposes and performance measurement.
Education
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field is required.
Minimum three years of professional experience in a related field is required, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment. Candidates should possess a proven track record of delivering results in similar roles, with a strong emphasis on [specific skills or industries, if applicable].
