Summary

The Sales & Business Development Manager spearheads revenue expansion initiatives, amplifies market penetration, and cultivates robust customer connections across all sales avenues.

The ideal candidate will spearhead the creation and implementation of sales strategies, uncover new business opportunities, nurture key customer relationships, and drive the attainment of sales targets and profitability goals.

Oversee and execute core operational duties with a focus on achieving departmental objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and align activities with organizational goals. Monitor progress through performance metrics, ensuring accountability and prompt resolution of any deviations. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth. Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of priorities.

Provide strategic leadership in sales to achieve and surpass revenue targets by crafting and implementing targeted sales initiatives that expand market presence, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to the fulfillment of broader business objectives.

Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to drive both individual and team success by setting measurable performance benchmarks, tracking progress, and delivering timely, constructive feedback. Cultivate an environment of excellence where accountability, continuous improvement, and high standards are prioritized, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Branch Performance Management: Through routine branch visits, you will evaluate sales performance, customer interaction quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with organizational protocols.

You will be responsible for driving business growth by discovering and capitalizing on new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding distribution networks. Additionally, you will cultivate and sustain strong relationships with vital customers, distributors, and other key stakeholders, while proactively identifying avenues to enhance the company’s market reach and presence.

Monitor product sales trends and implement proactive strategies to enhance performance across all locations. Evaluate inventory turnover to pinpoint underperforming items, then design targeted sales and promotional initiatives to boost visibility, accelerate revenue growth, and streamline inventory circulation.

Leverage Customer Relationship Management strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty by consistently delivering outstanding experiences at every interaction point.

Brand visibility enhancement and sales opportunity generation are achieved through active participation in brand activations, promotional events, trade shows, community engagements, product launches, and other customer-focused initiatives.

Analyzing sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to facilitate data-driven decision-making is a key responsibility. In addition, the role involves preparing and presenting regular sales and business development reports that highlight performance outcomes and strategic recommendations to drive ongoing growth.

Collaborate effectively across departments—including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Inventory, Customer Service, and Human Resources—to synchronize business goals and drive the successful implementation of growth initiatives.

We seek candidates who have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of six years of professional experience within Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management, or a closely related field.

Professional experience in the cosmetics, beauty, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or consumer products industry is preferred.

Proven success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales and business growth objectives.

The ideal candidate must be located near the Trade Fair in Jo, as this position is strictly on-site and does not offer hybrid or remote work options.
