We are in search of an accomplished Nautical Instructor, ideally a retired Master Mariner holding a valid Certificate of Competency (COC), to bolster our maritime training institute.
The successful applicant will possess extensive experience in classroom instruction and demonstrate an ability to provide students with high-quality educational content.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Duties include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, the role involves analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Regular reporting to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations is also required.
Provide instructional sessions and evaluate student performance for maritime training programs.
Revise and enhance course materials to ensure full compliance with STCW standards and applicable regulatory mandates.
Offer mentorship and support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth while providing constructive guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of student performance.
Partner with fellow instructors to maintain uniform standards and elevate the quality of instructional delivery.
Monitor emerging trends, innovations, and evolving regulations within the industry to ensure ongoing awareness and compliance.
