Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Production Manager to supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities and enhance operational efficiency within our aluminum extrusion facility.
This position requires strong leadership to meet performance objectives, enhance operational workflows, and uphold rigorous safety and quality benchmarks.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-team collaboration to drive organizational objectives forward, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering innovation and efficiency across all levels of the business. Analyze market trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance performance, profitability, and sustainability. Lead and mentor a high-performing team by delegating responsibilities, providing constructive feedback, and cultivating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Develop and maintain robust policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold operational excellence. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and department heads to facilitate transparent communication, streamline decision-making, and resolve complex challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
Responsible for managing and leading daily production activities across various shifts.
Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
To meet production targets efficiently, oversee operations to minimize waste and optimize unit costs.
Responsibilities include organizing shift schedules, assigning staff to meet production demands, and ensuring optimal productivity across all lines.
Ensure unwavering adherence to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and maintenance procedures throughout the shop floor operations.
Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning teams to ensure cohesive operations and alignment across departments.
Drive ongoing enhancements and ensure strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Deliver comprehensive training sessions and offer ongoing mentorship to operators, fostering skill development, improved performance, and heightened accountability.
Maintain accurate documentation, generate production reports, and monitor performance dashboards.
Monitor and record the usage of raw materials while assisting in maintaining precise inventory levels.
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee daily operations and strategic initiatives. Applicants must possess a minimum of five years in a relevant managerial or leadership role, along with a proven track record of driving organizational success. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, as the role requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in data analysis and project management tools is required to assess performance metrics and streamline workflows. Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability are critical to navigating complex challenges. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is mandatory, while an advanced degree or relevant certifications are strongly preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in production supervision or plant operations is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a manufacturing setting.
Accomplished a consistent history of enhancing output, reducing expenditures, and refining operational processes to maximize efficiency.
Proven expertise in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and additional lean manufacturing tools is essential.
Exceptional leadership abilities, adept team coordination, and superior communication skills are essential.
Proficient in evaluating production data to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in Odor.
A strong preference exists for candidates who are prepared to reside on-site in Anna.
