JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for directing, organizing, and optimizing the sales team’s performance to meet volume, distribution, and visibility targets across designated territories. The Sales Supervisor implements and oversees route-to-market (RTM) strategies, cultivates robust trade partnerships, and drives sustainable business expansion in alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with established policies. Manage and deliver high-impact projects within specified timelines and budgetary constraints. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to facilitate seamless communication and decision-making. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster professional growth and development. Oversee and inspire the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.

Create and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories to enhance product availability and visibility across every channel.

Perform routine market assessments to evaluate product performance, analyze competitor actions, and identify emerging market trends.

Ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal levels and replenished promptly at both distributor and retail stages.

Execute trade promotions, activations, and merchandising standards with precision and consistency.

Offer guidance, mentorship, and structured training sessions to sales representatives, with a focus on enhancing their performance and overall productivity. Additionally, conduct regular performance appraisals to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.

Build and nurture robust partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual growth.

Compile and deliver precise sales reports, gather and analyze market intelligence, and conduct comprehensive competitor analysis for submission.

Ensure adherence to organizational policies, pricing regulations, and ethical sales standards across all operations.

Collaborate effectively with logistics, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless operational workflows.
