Through diligent performance and adherence to established policies, the individual in this role will play a pivotal part in advancing the company’s mission and enhancing overall productivity.

The Logistics Officer will oversee procurement, transportation, warehousing, inventory control, asset management, and overall logistics operations to facilitate timely and efficient project execution in strict adherence to donor and organizational policies.

Oversee the effective execution of core duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Lead critical initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve measurable outcomes. Develop and refine processes to enhance productivity, while monitoring progress to identify areas for improvement. Serve as a key liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and resolving interdepartmental challenges. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks and upholding ethical standards. Mentor and guide team members, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional growth through targeted development opportunities.

Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, evaluate supplier options, and negotiate favorable terms. Monitor contract performance and manage supplier relationships to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.

Compile procurement requisitions, analyze bids, and draft purchase orders.

Ensure that procurement activities align with both Donor and Organizational Policies to maintain compliance and adherence to established guidelines.

Responsible for managing and updating procurement records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Oversee the collection, organization, and allocation of project materials to ensure efficient inventory management and timely availability for team members.

Perform periodic stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies on a consistent basis.

Facilitate audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure accurate tagging, diligent tracking, and consistent maintenance of all organizational assets to uphold accountability and operational efficiency.
