The ideal candidate will be tasked with managing and executing responsibilities pertaining to the position, including ensuring all duties are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. They will oversee key functions and maintain high standards of performance while adhering to established protocols and organizational objectives. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and support broader company initiatives.

Menu planning, managing all kitchen operations, overseeing inventory, and training staff are key responsibilities of this role.

Staying informed about emerging industry trends and verifying the quality of ingredients are essential responsibilities.

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment is essential to ensure hygiene and efficiency in operations. This involves regularly sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils while adhering to food safety standards. Additionally, proper storage of ingredients and tools, along with routine cleaning schedules, helps prevent contamination and promotes a smooth workflow.

The incumbent is responsible for tracking inventory levels in the kitchen, placing orders as needed, and conducting regular assessments of ingredient availability to maintain an adequate supply of essential items. This role also involves verifying that the kitchen remains fully stocked with all required materials at all times.

With the team, he/she is responsible for meticulously planning and expertly presenting dishes.

To ensure a fully functional workstation, arrange all necessary cooking equipment in an organized and efficient manner.

A seasoned professional oversees the continuous stream of dish preparations while innovating new menu additions to enhance culinary offerings.

Proficient in crafting both international and regional cuisine, with expertise in pastry, barbecue methods, portioning, and other associated culinary techniques.

The successful candidate must be based in Lagos, with accommodation provided as part of the benefits package.
