Main Accountabilities
Responsible for the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of plumbing systems and associated fixtures, such as pipes, valves, fittings, and related components.
Conduct thorough assessments of plumbing systems to diagnose issues, evaluate the extent of damage, and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Diagnose plumbing issues and design appropriate solutions by identifying and resolving leaks, clogs, and other related problems.
To effectively execute plumbing installations and repairs, it is essential to analyze blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications with precision and expertise.
Conduct regular maintenance on plumbing systems by executing cleaning, lubrication, and component adjustment procedures.
Collaborate with clients to assess their plumbing requirements and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and detailed cost estimates for services.
Partner with various trades people and contractors to synchronize plumbing installations and repairs within construction initiatives.
Verify adherence to all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout plumbing operations.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all work activities, including the materials utilized, hours dedicated, and services rendered.
Safely and efficiently operate plumbing tools and equipment, adhering to established procedures and safety precautions.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing service requests, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance as required.
Remain informed about developments, optimal methods, and new advancements in plumbing systems and methodologies within the industry.
Deliver mentorship and instructional support to junior plumbers and apprentices as required.
Ensure the work area remains tidy and well-organized, with tools and equipment stored appropriately and maintained in optimal condition.
