Job Summary

As an Interior Designer, you will conceptualize, design, and implement innovative furniture and interior design projects that precisely meet client requirements and uphold our premium brand standards.

This position demands a distinctive fusion of artistic creativity, advanced technical design expertise, and strong project management capabilities to guarantee the flawless execution of projects from initial conception through to final delivery.

Overseeing core duties in this capacity involves directing and coordinating essential functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. This encompasses managing key initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams, and maintaining rigorous adherence to established policies and procedures. Additionally, the role demands meticulous attention to detail in monitoring performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach are required to drive results while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability.

Conceptualize and visualize original, visually striking furniture and interior design proposals tailored to client specifications; craft detailed sketches, compelling mood boards, and immersive 3D renderings to effectively communicate design concepts.

Client Engagement: Deliver design proposals and progress reports to clients, leadership, and project stakeholders; partner with clients throughout the design process to integrate feedback and achieve optimal outcomes.

A Technical & Production Liaison is responsible for conveying design specifications with clarity to production teams and external contractors. This role involves close collaboration with production and operations teams to validate feasibility, functionality, and structural integrity throughout the development process.

Project Management: Track project schedules to ensure full compliance with deadlines and financial constraints while guiding design concepts through every stage, from initial prototyping to final production.

Ensure strict adherence to company standards by performing routine on-site quality inspections, verifying that design integrity and finishing meet established benchmarks while complying with safety, sustainability, and ergonomic requirements.

Skilled in cultivating relationships with architects, artisans, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

Trend Research: Continuously monitor global and local industry trends, materials, and cutting-edge design innovations to ensure all projects reflect contemporary aesthetics.

We are seeking candidates with a relevant academic background and demonstrated experience in the field. Applicants must hold a degree in the specified discipline, complemented by a proven track record in similar roles. Prior involvement in projects or initiatives directly related to the position is essential. Additionally, familiarity with industry standards and best practices is required to ensure alignment with organizational goals and deliverables.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited institution is required; advanced degrees or professional certifications further strengthen a candidate’s qualifications.

A minimum of three to five years of documented professional expertise in Project or Interior Design is required.

Professional candidates will have extensive expertise in Commercial Interiors, including Workplace/Corporate, Retail, and Hospitality/Restaurants environments.

Required qualifications and competencies include a degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and platforms is mandatory, as is strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a track record of project management, leadership, and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Requires expertise in AutoCAD, Ketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite, in addition to proficiency with contemporary 3D rendering applications.

A strong command of the full design lifecycle is essential, encompassing space planning, color theory, material characteristics, furniture systems, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), and technical documentation.

Project & Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency in project costing, contract management, local building codes, and the intricacies of local permitting procedures.

Exceptional precision, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to uphold superior quality standards and customer service are essential, particularly when managing several high-pressure projects concurrently.

Possesses exceptional verbal and graphic communication abilities, facilitating seamless collaboration across diverse disciplines and fostering strong, productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
