Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless workflow across departments, identifying inefficiencies and implementing corrective measures. Install, commission, and service a range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including split units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and industrial cooling units.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance procedures on HVAC/R systems.
Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related malfunctions to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Execute repairs and install new parts, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, control boards, and other related components.
Safely manage refrigerants, including recovery, recycling, and recharging processes.
Maintain precise documentation of service activities and provide clients with expert guidance on enhancing energy efficiency.
Attend to urgent service requests by promptly addressing emergency breakdown situations as they arise.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, complemented by a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in software development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and version control systems, like Git, is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical information are a must.
Holding an OND, Trade Test Certificate, or an equivalent qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&A), Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Requires a minimum of three to four years of practical involvement in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, encompassing both repair and maintenance activities.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of HVAC principles and systems, including their design, operation, and maintenance.
Skilled in refrigerant management and gas charging processes is essential.
Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics is required.
Strong analytical abilities, effective interpersonal communication, and collaborative teamwork proficiencies are essential.
A recognized certification in HVAC/R from institutions such as City & Guilds, NAB TEB, or equivalent bodies is considered a valuable asset.
