Role Summary

The Tax and Audit Lead will be responsible for managing all facets of tax compliance and audit procedures.

The ideal candidate will fulfill all tax obligations and concurrently identify strategic avenues for tax optimization.

This position will oversee internal audit projects, verifying accuracy and adherence to applicable regulatory mandates and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilties

Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, encompassing the preparation and thorough review of tax returns.

Ensure vendors withhold and remit taxes accurately and punctually.

Direct the entire lifecycle of internal audit engagements, encompassing strategic planning, meticulous execution, and comprehensive reporting.

Analyze financial statements to verify adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Act as the main liaison for all tax-related questions and concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders.

Foster and sustain strong professional connections while delivering expert tax guidance to both internal teams and external partners.

Oversee all communications with regulatory authorities, including LIES and FIRS.

Requires a minimum of three to five years of full-time professional expertise in tax compliance and audit-related operations.

A comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations is essential, enabling the application of this expertise to intricate and multifaceted scenarios.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships is essential.

Analytical prowess and adept problem-solving skills are essential.
