The Tax and Audit Lead will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of tax compliance and audit functions. This position will oversee internal audit projects, verifying adherence to regulatory mandates and organizational policies to maintain precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilties

Oversee tax compliance functions, ensuring accurate preparation and thorough review of tax returns.

Ensure all necessary tax deductions are accurately calculated and withheld from vendor payments, with subsequent remittance completed promptly to comply with regulatory obligations.

Conduct internal audit initiatives from initial planning through execution to final reporting stages, ensuring thorough and systematic evaluation of organizational processes.

Examine financial statements to confirm adherence to applicable accounting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Act as the main liaison for all tax-related questions and concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders.

Foster and sustain strong professional relationships while delivering expert tax guidance to both internal teams and external partners.

Oversee all communications with regulatory authorities, including LIES and FIRS.
