As an ICT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, your role involves validating that software applications and computer systems adhere to stringent performance, reliability, and security benchmarks. You will develop comprehensive testing protocols, identify system defects, and partner with development teams to address issues proactively prior to product release.
Oversee and execute a range of essential duties to ensure operational excellence, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational goals. Lead high-impact assignments with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth, while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and adherence to best practices. Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline processes, resolve complex challenges, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, encompassing both manual and automated methodologies.
Utilize tracking systems, such as Jira, to systematically detect, document, and monitor software defects or performance inefficiencies.
Ensure that all ICT systems adhere to established internal policies, recognized industry standards, and applicable regulatory mandates.
Partner with software developers and various cross-functional teams to jointly identify the underlying causes of issues and validate solutions before deployment.
Conduct performance testing to assess system behavior, evaluate load handling capabilities, and verify integrity across diverse operational environments.
