Job Summary
A proficient IT Officer is sought to oversee and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, encompassing systems, networks, hardware, software, CCTV systems, and data backup protocols.
The successful applicant will oversee the seamless functioning of IT operations, deliver expert technical assistance, uphold system security protocols, and facilitate business continuity initiatives.
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.* *Minimum of five years of experience in software development, with at least three years in a leadership or management role.* *Proficient in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, and C++.* *Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* *Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to interface with cross-functional teams.* *Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.* *Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.* *Leadership experience in guiding teams, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical decisions.* *Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.*
A bachelor’s degree, including an OND, HND, or B.Sc., in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Requires a minimum of three to five years of hands-on IT support or administration background.
Proficiency in computer systems, networking, troubleshooting methodologies, and data backup procedures is required.
Effective communication, analytical problem-solving, and strong organizational capabilities are essential for this role.
