Job Summary

A dynamic and results-driven End User Device & IT Asset Management Engineer is sought to enhance our IT team. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing, deploying, and sustaining hardware, software, and configuration protocols for end-user devices throughout the enterprise.

The engineer will oversee the administration of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals within Windows and macOS ecosystems, maintaining robust security protocols, adherence to compliance standards, and delivering a seamless end-user experience in a contemporary hybrid work setting.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the development and execution of strategic initiatives, management of cross-functional teams, and implementation of innovative solutions to drive organizational growth. Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Facilitate effective communication between departments to align objectives and optimize workflow efficiency. Monitor performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost-saving measures.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the comprehensive lifecycle management of our organizational devices and assets. This role encompasses the strategic planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, tracking, and eventual retirement of all hardware and associated resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in asset management, proficiency with inventory control systems, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate records and compliance with relevant policies. Responsibilities include optimizing asset utilization, minimizing costs, and mitigating risks through proactive lifecycle planning and meticulous documentation.

Oversee the entire lifecycle of end-user IT devices, including provisioning, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning, to ensure seamless integration and efficient resource utilization.

Design and uphold standardized system images and deployment procedures tailored for both Windows and macOS environments.

Ensure precise documentation and meticulous tracking of IT assets and inventory.

Oversee the end-of-life processes, which encompass device retirement and buyback initiatives.

Monitor and oversee IT asset inventories with Microsoft Excel and specialized inventory management tools.

Our Endpoint Management role focuses on overseeing and maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of all organizational endpoints, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Key responsibilities involve deploying, updating, and troubleshooting endpoint solutions to ensure seamless operation while adhering to established IT policies and security protocols. The position requires proficiency in endpoint management tools, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and patch management systems. Additionally, candidates must possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly. Experience with cloud-based endpoint management platforms and familiarity with industry-standard compliance frameworks are also essential for success in this role.

Oversee the operation and maintenance of endpoint management systems, specifically Microsoft Intune and SCCM, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.

Automate the enrollment of devices, deployment of software, application of patches, and enforcement of compliance policies.

Develop and implement endpoint security standards, including BitLocker encryption protocols, antivirus measures, and device lock policies.

Protecting organizational assets and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards are central to this role, which focuses on safeguarding information systems and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and industry best practices. Duties include conducting risk assessments, implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents to mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Additionally, the position requires maintaining up-to-date documentation, performing audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to uphold security protocols and compliance obligations across all operational areas.

Partner with the security team to implement and maintain endpoint security measures such as disk encryption solutions (BitLocker and File Vault), antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, and multifactor authentication (MFA).

Facilitate adherence to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR through proactive implementation and monitoring efforts.

Monitor, analyze, and address endpoint security incidents and vulnerabilities to ensure timely detection and resolution. Investigate potential threats and respond promptly to mitigate risks while maintaining system integrity.

Providing technical assistance and ensuring a seamless user experience, you will address inquiries and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems, offering guidance on product usage, and maintaining detailed records of interactions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify recurring issues to improve services and contribute to user feedback initiatives. Proficiency in customer support tools, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are essential for this role.

Act as the primary resource for addressing intricate device-related issues and service requests that require elevated support.

Vigilantly track device functionality and resolve issues promptly to maintain an uninterrupted, user-friendly experience.

Develop and administer software applications and licensing protocols to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and management of software licenses, including tracking usage and renewals. Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate software needs, recommend solutions, and optimize licensing agreements. Maintain accurate records of software inventory and usage data to support audits and strategic planning. Identify cost-saving opportunities through license consolidation and negotiation with vendors. Provide guidance to end-users on software utilization and licensing policies to promote adherence and minimize risks. Ensure all software deployments align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the administration of licenses for essential productivity tools, such as Microsoft 365.

Ensure adherence to licensing agreements and established organizational policies regarding software utilization.

We oversee project management and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive performance. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, identifying process gaps, and implementing innovative solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, allocating resources effectively, and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management methodologies, and a track record of delivering measurable results. Experience in process optimization and change management is highly desirable, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Lead or spearhead IT projects, including device refresh initiatives, onboarding automation, and remote work enablement efforts.

Assess and propose appropriate tools and technologies to enhance endpoint management, bolster security measures, and drive productivity improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is essential. Proficiency in industry-specific software or tools is required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary. A minimum of three years of related work experience is mandatory. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are needed. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is important. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field of practical experience is required.

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in end-user device engineering, endpoint management, or a comparable IT position is required.

Demonstrates advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune, coupled with extensive experience in IT asset tracking utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Proficient in administering Windows 10/11 systems with a solid foundation in macOS management.

Proficiency in enterprise security standards and recommended practices is required.

Proven ability to diagnose issues efficiently, articulate solutions clearly, and maintain meticulous records.
