Information Technology Division
The Information Technology Division is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure and systems. This includes managing networks, servers, software applications, and cybersecurity measures to ensure seamless operations and data protection. The division also provides technical support to employees and troubleshoots technology-related issues to minimize downtime. Additionally, it evaluates and adopts emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation across the enterprise. Candidates for this division should possess strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in relevant programming languages, and experience with IT governance frameworks. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant certifications such as Compton, Cisco, or Microsoft.

Develop and execute holistic network security architectures, spanning from initial planning to full implementation, ensuring robust protection across all layers of the infrastructure.
Deliver continuous assistance for the operational, strategic, and maintenance aspects of MTN Nigeria’s enterprise and mobile data networks, employing cutting-edge network security technologies.
Description
You will oversee the advanced comprehension of multiservice platforms and routing protocols—including ISIS, RIP, RSVP, OSPF, BGP, and IBP—and perform in-depth troubleshooting down to the packet level.
Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in IP/MPLS protocols, NMS systems, firewalls, and Cisco Works, while possessing a strong familiarity with CIC and Layer 2 and 3 VPN technologies, ensuring full alignment with Service Level Agreements.
Design and deploy both site-to-site and remote access virtual private network (VPN) solutions to ensure secure, encrypted connectivity across organizational networks and for mobile or remote users.
Design and deploy advanced firewall solutions alongside robust network access control systems to safeguard organizational infrastructure.
Develop and deploy mile-to-mile business connectivity solutions utilizing ground positioning and radio (GPR) technologies.
Design and enforce network access control measures to ensure secure and efficient connectivity across various network segments within the IP/MPLS infrastructure.
Implement and enforce robust security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and mitigate potential risks effectively.
Proactively elevate network-related issues and ensure timely resolution of faults to maintain optimal network clearance rates.
Deliver the flawless introduction of new data and services in collaboration with Marketing and IP System planning teams to uphold superior quality standards.
Execute the implementation and seamless transition of new nodes into the existing infrastructure.
Offer advanced emergency maintenance services for IP/MPLS network infrastructures, leveraging expertise in security protocols. Perform high-level troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve critical network issues efficiently.
Ensure the completion of planned works at the targeted rate, meeting all established deadlines and performance benchmarks.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with intellectual property (IP) vendors, collaborating closely with Technical Assistance Centers (TAC) and vendor Tier 2 and 3 support teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Foster meaningful relationships with stakeholders to generate and sustain value across all engagements.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the position. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience is essential, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, and strong problem-solving abilities are necessary to address complex challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is highly preferred.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, preferably in education, psychology, or a related discipline. Candidates must possess a valid state teaching certification or an equivalent credential, as well as prior experience in an educational setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
First Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional would be an added advantage
Cisco Certification to Professional Level required with a bias in Security
A CCIE Security certification would provide a competitive edge in the selection process.
