Job Purpose
The Project Management Officer plays a key role in facilitating the strategic and operational project lifecycle, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities throughout the Group.
The position guarantees projects are executed within defined parameters, financial constraints, and deadlines while complying with established governance protocols and fostering ongoing enhancements to the Project Management Office (PMO) framework.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational coordination, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and ensure adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with business goals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Monitor progress through regular assessments, providing data-driven insights to senior management for informed decision-making. Serve as a key liaison between departments, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements while maintaining high standards of accountability and transparency.

Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and propose corrective actions as needed. Maintain clear documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes to support transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to identify, assess, and address risks across all business operations. Collaborate with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to establish a robust risk culture and promote accountability at all levels. Monitor emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends to adapt strategies proactively and safeguard the organization’s reputation and operational integrity.
Maintain adherence to established project management standards and governance frameworks to ensure compliance throughout all project phases.
Maintain logs for project risks and issues while facilitating mitigation initiatives.
Carefully assess project documentation to ensure it is thorough and meets established quality standards.
Provide portfolio and strategic support by assisting with the development, maintenance, and analysis of investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market trends. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to refine investment strategies, evaluate performance metrics, and recommend data-driven adjustments. Conduct thorough research, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. Maintain accurate records, track portfolio progress, and adhere to compliance standards and risk management protocols.
Support the administration of the Group’s project portfolio and ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
Facilitate the prioritization of projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Deliver comprehensive analysis and actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic enhancements that optimize productivity. Develop and refine processes to ensure seamless operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, evaluate current methodologies, and introduce data-driven solutions that drive continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact of implemented changes and make iterative adjustments as needed.
Enhance existing PMO processes, templates, and tools to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational objectives.
Drive ongoing enhancements and apply leading project management methodologies to foster efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably within [industry/technology stack if specified]. Proficiency in programming languages such as [list languages, e.g., Java, Python, C++] and expertise in frameworks like [list frameworks, e.g., Spring, Django, React] are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams are required. Requires 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in project management, process optimization, strategic implementation, consulting, or a comparable professional capacity.
Proficiency in the Financial Services sector is highly desirable.
A background in project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAP, or comparable certifications is highly desirable.
