Job Summary

As the Information Officer specializing in Content and Social Media for JEDI Healthcare, you will embody the organization’s digital presence, shaping its voice, tone, and visual identity across online platforms.

You’ll craft compelling content that captures attention, encourages interaction, and compels audiences to stop scrolling and engage meaningfully.

What You Will Do

Craft compelling, audience-focused content tailored for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and brand messaging initiatives.

Oversee the administration and strategic development of our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand representation and engagement.

Consistently plan, schedule, and publish content to maintain a steady flow of engagement and communication.

Analyze emerging trends and transform them into content that aligns with brand identity and objectives.

Craft engaging captions, posts, and narrative-driven content designed to resonate deeply with target audiences.

Design visually compelling graphics with Canva, Photoshop, or comparable software applications to create engaging and impactful visual content.

Produce engaging short-form video content tailored for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, leveraging editing tools such as Cap Cut or comparable applications to ensure high-quality output.

Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to determine effectiveness, identify areas needing enhancement, and implement strategic improvements.

Leverage artificial intelligence technologies to enhance content quality, accelerate production timelines, and foster innovative creative solutions.

Seeking an individual with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The role demands adaptability to changing priorities, a commitment to continuous learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices within the field is highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Advertising, Media, or a closely related discipline is required.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling narratives and producing high-quality written content is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ability to engage audiences through clear, persuasive, and creative communication.

Possesses a solid grasp of the nuances and dynamics within Nigerian social media landscapes and evolving trends.

Proficient in utilizing design and editing software such as Canva, Photoshop, and Cap Cut, or comparable applications.

Proficient in designing both static graphics and dynamic short-form video content with high attention to detail and creativity.

Possesses foundational knowledge of content strategy and social media oversight, including scheduling, audience engagement, and platform optimization. Familiar with tools and techniques for planning, creating, and distributing digital content across various channels. Understands key metrics for evaluating performance and adjusting strategies to enhance reach and interaction.

Big Plus:

Experienced in crafting engaging content, overseeing social media platforms, and executing digital marketing strategies.

Skilled in photography and videography capture techniques are required. Proficiency in operating cameras, lighting equipment, and editing software is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling to produce high-quality visual content. Experience with photo and video editing tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Premiere Pro, is highly desirable. The ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and attention to detail is crucial. Additionally, familiarity with different genres—such as portrait, landscape, event, or documentary photography—is beneficial. Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, directors, or team members are also necessary.

Proven ability to expand and nurture social media presence, demonstrated through successful growth of online communities or brand visibility. Expertise in implementing strategies that increase engagement, followers, and overall audience reach across various platforms.

Proficiency in utilizing artificial intelligence-driven content creation tools is essential.
