We are looking for a skilled, forward-thinking, and student-centered ICT / Computer Hardware & GSM Repair Teacher to become part of our secondary school faculty. The successful applicant will deliver lessons in ICT and hands-on technical skills, nurturing creativity, instilling discipline, and promoting experiential learning among students.

The ideal candidate will deliver instruction in ICT and fundamental computer engineering topics, such as computer hardware maintenance and GSM/mobile phone repairs, in full alignment with the school’s curriculum and established educational benchmarks. Additionally, the teacher will mentor students in cultivating hands-on digital and technical proficiencies that are directly applicable to contemporary technological advancements and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency and team alignment, including leading project initiatives, managing cross-functional collaborations, and driving strategic decision-making processes. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize productivity, quality, and compliance across all operational functions. Monitor team performance through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to foster professional growth and accountability. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and departmental teams, facilitating transparent communication and aligning organizational goals with actionable execution plans. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and innovation to enhance overall business performance and competitive advantage. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies while maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct and corporate responsibility.

Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences in accordance with established schemes of work, lesson plans, and institutional policies.

Instruct secondary school students in ICT, computer fundamentals, hardware maintenance, and foundational GSM/mobile phone repair techniques.

Develop and present dynamic lessons along with interactive classwork, hands-on practical exercises, structured assignments, and thorough assessments to evaluate student progress effectively.

Able to practically assemble computers, diagnose technical issues, install software, and perform device maintenance with proficiency.

Present students with instruction in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile phones, as well as the proper and safe use of repair tools.

Evaluate students’ academic achievements and hands-on performance, delivering constructive feedback and tailored assistance to foster their growth and development.

Evaluate students’ learning difficulties and deliver targeted support as needed.

Uphold classroom and practical laboratory discipline while fostering an engaging and constructive learning atmosphere.

Conduct practical sessions while overseeing students to maintain adherence to established safety protocols.

Accurately document lesson delivery, attendance records, assessments, and student progress to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date tracking.

Provide diligent oversight to guarantee the appropriate care and maintenance of all ICT laboratory equipment, tools, and devices.

Attend mandatory staff meetings, school programs, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field is required, with a minimum qualification of an HND.

Educational qualification and TRCN certification are required for this position.

Proficiency in GSM/mobile phone repairs and computer hardware maintenance, either through practical certification or hands-on experience, constitutes a favorable qualification.

A minimum of three years of teaching experience within a secondary school or technical training setting is required.

Proficient in ICT, computer systems, troubleshooting, and mobile device repair, with strong practical experience in each area.

Exceptional proficiency in classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills is essential.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to educating adolescents and guiding young learners through their academic and personal growth.

Seeking candidates who possess a strong proficiency in organizational management, effective communication abilities, and adept problem-solving skills. Candidates should demonstrate experience in strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with project management methodologies, data analysis, and customer relationship management is highly desirable. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines and adapting to dynamic business environments. Additional preferences include expertise in digital marketing, financial acumen, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Skilled in integrating theoretical concepts with hands-on instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Proficiency in fundamental networking principles and software installation procedures is required.
