Responsible for overseeing and orchestrating the strategic design, seamless installation, and robust connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure, ensuring the uninterrupted and stable operation of the organization’s IT assets.
This role encompasses the design, configuration, upkeep, oversight, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement of both current and new network infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, and communication pathways. Additionally, it involves collaborating to administer and validate the efficacy of security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus tools, and intrusion detection systems.
To guarantee the seamless operation, optimal performance, and adherence to established benchmarks of the production network and its related technology services and infrastructure, while providing a secure platform for the organization’s business activities.
Ensures the provision of assistance within established service level agreements while achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Provide support in executing designated projects by leveraging comprehensive expertise in current and evolving technologies, and contribute technical insights to initiatives either led by or affecting the organization.
Consistently maintain and enhance the reliability, performance, and uptime of critical systems and infrastructure to meet operational demands.
Monitor application performance to detect potential bottlenecks, evaluate viable solutions, and collaborate with development teams to execute the necessary fixes.
Ensures continuous verification of data integrity and compliance with assurance standards.
Offers technical assistance to staff and IT end users as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience may also be considered.
A bachelor’s degree, or Higher National Diploma (HND), in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
With a minimum of six years of hands-on experience in system engineering and IT support, you possess a deep understanding of complex technical environments and troubleshooting methodologies.
Proven expertise with VMware virtualization technologies is essential.
Proficient in applying Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, procedures, and roles with a high degree of familiarity.
Proven expertise in administering and configuring large-scale LAN’s, WAN’s, WLANs, and VPNs across enterprise environments is required.
