Job Summary
We are in search of a highly organized and quantitatively proficient Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and supply chain functions for an allocated business unit.
This position oversees vendor sourcing initiatives, maintains the vendor master database, processes purchase orders, and fosters strong relationships with subcontractors.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with company goals, monitor progress through established metrics, and implement improvements based on data-driven insights. Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, fostering clear communication channels and resolving operational challenges to maintain workflow integrity. Lead initiatives that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive sustainable growth while adhering to compliance standards and industry best practices.
Within one business day of receiving order requests, verify the availability and cost details of vendors and resources.
Assess, confirm, and document all third-party vendors in the ERP system prior to task assignment.
Oversee the vendor tiering framework and proactively broaden the vendor network within underserved operating regions.
Establish and maintain direct relationships with subcontractor firms, ensuring thorough understanding of contractual obligations and effective management of dispute resolution processes.
Quarterly assessments of vendor performance are conducted, with underperforming vendors being removed from the approved list.
Prepare and distribute purchase orders, while engaging in negotiations to secure favorable pricing, discounts, and contractual terms with suppliers.
Responsible for managing logistical operations at the procurement stage and authorizing freight agreements.
Prepare weekly procurement reports and conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data to support management decision-making processes.
Seeking a candidate with a proven track record in project management, possessing strong organizational skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant must have at least five years of experience in a similar role, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and proficiency in industry-standard software. Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset are essential for driving project success and aligning with organizational goals.
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with up to three years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or a comparable administrative capacity, with National Youth Service Corps (NYC) placements in procurement or administrative roles considered as valid experience.
Accomplishes tasks with precision and maintains rigorous attention to detail. Demonstrates exceptional numerical aptitude alongside robust analytical capabilities. Upholds unwavering integrity in all responsibilities while ensuring accuracy in work product.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required, with experience in any ERP or procurement software being advantageous.
Possesses strong negotiation instincts and demonstrates a methodical, process-driven approach.
Proficiency in the telecommunications sector or within construction and infrastructure domains is advantageous.
