The Human Resources department is responsible for managing all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This team ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a positive workplace culture. They oversee payroll processing, employee onboarding, training initiatives, and conflict resolution. Additionally, they handle workplace safety protocols, diversity and inclusion programs, and maintain accurate personnel records in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.

The position is accountable to the Head of Human Resources, ensuring alignment with HR policies and strategic objectives. This role operates under the direct supervision of the HR leadership team, providing functional guidance and performance oversight. Clear communication and collaboration with senior HR personnel are essential to execute departmental initiatives effectively.

Position is situated in Agrarian, Anam bra State.

As a Team Lead I, you will oversee a designated team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback to team members to foster growth and efficiency. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior management to align team objectives with organizational goals, addressing any challenges that may arise. We offer a competitive net monthly salary ranging from 750,000 to 900,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Eligible employees will receive a 13th-month salary payment as mandated by labor regulations, typically disbursed annually in December. This financial benefit is provided to all regular full-time staff in compliance with statutory requirements. The amount is generally equivalent to one month’s base salary, calculated based on the employee’s annual compensation structure.

Role Summary

The HR Operations Lead will spearhead HR operations, employee relations, compliance, workforce administration, and strategic HR business partnering throughout the organization. This position is tasked with fostering operational excellence, enhancing workforce productivity, upholding policy compliance, and cultivating a positive employee experience.

Oversee and execute core duties that include managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions and activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success, identify process improvements, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment while upholding high standards of performance and accountability. Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress, address challenges proactively, and deliver measurable results in alignment with organizational objectives.

Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations and employee lifecycle management, encompassing onboarding, transfers, promotions, disciplinary measures, and offboarding processes.

Collaborate closely with organizational leaders to resolve workforce-related issues, enhance team performance, and facilitate strategic workforce planning initiatives.

Oversee employee relations functions, including workplace investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution procedures.

Ensure full adherence to Nigerian labor regulations, organizational policies, and established HR governance frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining dynamic HR dashboards, generating comprehensive workforce reports, and tracking essential people metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Spearhead strategic enhancements to HR processes, champion automation solutions, and foster operational excellence across initiatives.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.

Certified Human Resources professionals are expected to hold an HR credential from an accredited body, such as CPM, CIPD, SHAM, RCI, or a comparable qualification.

With a minimum of seven to ten years of progressive HR experience, candidates should demonstrate substantial expertise in HR Operations and Employee Relations.

Professional candidates should have prior experience serving as an HR Business Partner in operational settings such as manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), agribusiness, logistics, or comparable industries.

Demonstrates in-depth familiarity with Nigerian labor legislation and established HR best practices.

Proven expertise in analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, problem resolution, and effective communication.

Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications is required. Familiarity with Seamless HR would be considered a valuable asset.
