Job Summary
We are in search of a diligent and attentive Hotel Security Officer to safeguard guests, employees, visitors, and hotel assets.
The ideal candidate will consistently oversee hotel premises, address security incidents promptly, uphold established hotel policies, and ensure a secure yet hospitable atmosphere for all guests and staff.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing daily operations with precision and efficiency to ensure seamless workflow. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance productivity and drive organizational growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with company objectives and foster innovation. Maintain rigorous compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to uphold standards of excellence. Monitor performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a key liaison between departments, facilitating clear communication and coordinated efforts to achieve shared goals.
Regularly conduct patrols of hotel premises to identify and deter any unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or other potential security risks.
Monitor closed-circuit television systems, security alarms, and related surveillance equipment to ensure the integrity and safety of the designated area.
Responsible for regulating entry to hotel amenities and confirming the identities of guests and visitors as required.
Handle emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, accidents, and fire alarms with immediate attention and effective response.
Provide assistance to guests and staff regarding safety concerns and deliver support during emergency situations.
Compile comprehensive incident documentation and daily operational activity reports.
Perform regular assessments of hotel facilities to detect any security and safety risks.
Work closely with management and law enforcement authorities, as needed, to ensure seamless coordination and adherence to protocols.
Ensure strict adherence to established hotel policies, operational guidelines, and security protocols.
Verify that all emergency exits remain unobstructed and operational, while also confirming the proper functionality of all safety equipment.
*Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable results under tight deadlines. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in the field is required, along with the ability to adapt to evolving industry trends. Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities are also necessary to ensure seamless execution of responsibilities.*
A high school diploma or SSC certification is required, and additional security-related training is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in security services, hospitality, or a comparable discipline is strongly desired.
Demonstrates keen observational abilities, effective communication, and adeptness in resolving conflicts.
Maintains composure and professionalism even in high-pressure situations.
Comprehensive understanding of emergency response protocols and adherence to safety guidelines are required.
Demonstrated physical fitness and capacity to remain on one’s feet or conduct patrols for prolonged durations are essential.
Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including overnight shifts, weekends, and designated holidays.
