Job Summary
We require a highly trained and attentive Hotel Security Officer to safeguard guests, staff, visitors, and hotel assets around the clock.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing hotel premises, addressing security incidents promptly, upholding hotel policies, and ensuring a consistently safe and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff.
Oversee a range of critical duties to ensure seamless operations, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of quality control throughout all deliverables. Develop and implement strategic plans to align with organizational objectives, fostering collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and innovation. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership to support informed decision-making. Additionally, oversee budget adherence, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies while mentoring staff to enhance productivity and professional growth.
Regularly conduct patrols of hotel grounds to identify and deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other potential security threats.
Oversee the operation of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure continuous monitoring and protection.
Responsible for regulating entry to hotel facilities and confirming the identity of visitors as required.
Respond immediately to any emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, accidents, or fire alarms.
Provide assistance to guests and staff regarding safety concerns and respond promptly during emergency situations.
Compile comprehensive incident documentation and daily operational activity reports.
Perform regular assessments of hotel properties to detect any security or safety risks that may compromise guest well-being or operational integrity.
Work collaboratively with management and law enforcement agencies as needed to ensure alignment and compliance with relevant protocols.
Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to all hotel policies, regulations, and security protocols to maintain a safe and orderly environment for guests and staff.
Maintain the operational readiness and accessibility of all emergency exits and safety equipment at all times.
Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as an SSC, is required, while additional security training would be considered a valuable asset.
Professional experience in security services, hospitality, or a comparable industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrates keen observational abilities, effective communication, and adept conflict-resolution capabilities.
Remains composed and maintains a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
Understanding of emergency response protocols and compliance with safety standards is required.
Fitness and endurance are essential, with the capability to remain on one’s feet or conduct patrols for prolonged durations.
Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including overnight shifts, weekends, and designated holidays.
