The Support Desk Personnel will function as the central on-site liaison for hospital personnel and patients utilizing the organization’s acquired digital technology suite and oncology access initiatives. By addressing inquiries and resolving technical challenges, they aim to alleviate operational pressures on hospital staff while ensuring patients experience smooth navigation through program procedures and diagnostic services.
Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and foster innovation. Manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor financial performance to optimize profitability and sustainability. Lead initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and stakeholder relationships. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce. Ensure adherence to industry standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices in all operational activities.
Offer first-line technical and digital support by delivering system guidance and resolving basic user troubleshooting issues for our digital solutions.
Patient Navigation: Provide guidance to patients through program pathways, encompassing enrollment procedures and referrals for immunohistochemistry (IOC) diagnostic services.
Program Coordination involves streamlining program operations within hospital workflows and promptly escalating operational challenges to the program team for resolution.
Administrative Reporting: Ensure meticulous documentation of Support Desk activities and deliver regular operational updates along with strategic insights.
Ensure unwavering adherence to NDPR (Nigeria Data Protection Regulation) and hospital confidentiality protocols in every patient interaction and data management activity.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is mandatory. Candidates must possess at least three years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering results. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software is required, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities is highly valued. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is also expected.
A relevant university degree in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or another medical science discipline is required.
Professional experience encompassing healthcare coordination, hospital administration, pharmacy operations, or technical support is required.
High proficiency in digital tools, excellent communication abilities, a deep understanding or hands-on experience with Nigeria’s healthcare system, and the capacity to function efficiently within hospital settings.
Proven capability in fostering patient involvement and resolving issues effectively.
Compensation includes a fixed monthly transport allowance and an airtime allowance to support communication needs.
