Job Summary

A highly skilled and meticulous Hospital Billing Manager is sought to direct the hospital’s billing operations, revenue cycle processes, and accounts receivable management throughout the Group.

The ideal candidate will design and deploy standardized billing systems and processes to maintain consistency, efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all facilities.

Oversee a range of critical duties including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, meet organizational objectives, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts, share insights, and resolve challenges collaboratively. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize processes and achieve measurable results. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering clear communication and facilitating seamless coordination to support overall business success.

Design, deploy, and refine standardized billing systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency and compliance across all facilities within the Group.

Guarantee consistent adherence to billing protocols and revenue cycle processes across the entire Group.

Oversee all hospital billing processes, encompassing patient billing, corporate accounts, and HMO-related transactions, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established standards.

Accurately generate, verify, and submit invoices and claims to ensure compliance and efficiency in financial processes.

Oversee the revenue cycle with a focus on enhancing collections, reducing claim denials, and preventing revenue loss.

Perform regular billing audits and compliance assessments to detect discrepancies and execute corrective measures.

Responsibilities include verifying billing records against data from clinical, pharmacy, laboratory, and finance departments to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Follow up with clients regarding overdue claims, unsettled invoices, and contested accounts to facilitate timely resolution.

Compile regular billing, collections, revenue, and performance reports for review by management.

Ensure adherence to healthcare billing standards, contractual obligations, regulatory mandates, and established internal policies.

Collaborate effectively with HMO’s, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders to manage billing processes, ensure accurate reconciliations, and finalize account settlements.

Evaluate areas within the billing function where enhancements in processes, automation, and operational efficiency can be achieved.

Conduct thorough reviews to identify and rectify billing discrepancies, patient complaints, claim rejections, and process deviations.

Facilitate internal and external audit processes by furnishing all necessary documentation promptly upon request.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a closely related discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of three to five years of direct experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or hospital accounts management, including at least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing billing systems, establishing efficient policies, and creating performance measurement frameworks.

Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of HMO operations, claims administration, healthcare billing methodologies, and revenue cycle management processes.

Skilled in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Excel, and other pertinent software applications.
