Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects is highly desirable.
With a minimum of seven years of expertise in risk management specifically within the financial services sector, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to ensure regulatory compliance and operational stability.
Required is experience in leadership roles.
Proficient in CBN/FDIC regulations, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and risk governance frameworks.
Professional designations such as Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CSI), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CBN), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) qualifications are highly regarded.
