Lead and oversee the establishment, execution, and facilitation of emergency Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) initiatives, encompassing GBV case management, secure spaces for women and girls, as well as GBV prevention and risk mitigation strategies.

Develop and implement community-driven risk mitigation and capacity-building programs, including training on protection mainstreaming, outbreak adaptation, safeguarding protocols, Psychological First Aid, infection prevention and control measures, and referral pathways, while fostering community-led protection efforts in challenging outbreak and insecure environments.

Engage collaboratively with child protection, PRO, and other sector colleagues to identify and mitigate risks of gender-based violence (GBV), ensuring seamless linkages between programs and the integration of best practices in protection initiatives.

Through thoughtful program design, robust team capabilities, and positive behavioral standards, guarantee that clients—particularly women and girls of all backgrounds—are actively involved in shaping and executing IRC programs, ensuring their participation is both impactful and secure.
