Job Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee a team of kitchen staff and ensure the smooth daily operations of the kitchen, which includes maintaining clean equipment, monitoring supply levels, and managing food inventory rotation.
Supervises and coordinates the efforts of staff in food preparation, kitchen operations, pantry management, and storeroom administration, while efficiently utilizing surplus ingredients and leftover items.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in software development is essential. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is necessary. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a must. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are critical. Proficiency in Agile methodologies is preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is required.
Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree—or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field—is required.
Commercial cooking experience, ideally within a restaurant or hotel setting, is required, while vocational training in catering, though advantageous, is not mandatory.
Professional Experience in management or leadership roles will be viewed favorably.
Demonstrates exceptional aptitude for managing multiple tasks concurrently with efficiency and precision, ensuring all responsibilities are addressed without compromising quality or timeliness.
