Job Purpose

Provides strategic leadership and overall management to ensure the organization achieves its objectives efficiently and effectively. Drives financial performance, optimizes resource allocation, and enhances operational excellence through innovative solutions and data-driven decision-making. Collaborates with senior leadership, board members, and key stakeholders to align business strategies with long-term vision, fostering sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Oversees departmental performance, monitors key performance indicators, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of productivity and innovation. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and corporate governance policies while cultivating a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

The MEAL Officer will spearhead monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning initiatives to uphold high standards of project execution, ensure accurate tracking of outcomes, facilitate informed decision-making based on evidence, and adhere to donor requirements. Additionally, the role will involve conducting on-site monitoring, assisting with reporting efforts, and fostering a culture of continuous organizational learning.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Key tasks include managing cross-functional teams, developing strategic initiatives, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also encompass analyzing performance metrics, optimizing operational workflows, and fostering innovation to drive business growth. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring junior staff, and representing the company in external forums when necessary.

Develop and execute comprehensive MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) project plans, along with indicator tracking frameworks and performance monitoring systems.

Accurate collection, verification, analysis, and reporting of project data must be ensured as a core responsibility.

Perform routine field monitoring visits to evaluate progress, quality, and compliance.

Oversee the successful delivery of project deliverables, results, and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and predefined benchmarks.

Conduct baseline, midline, and Edline assessments, surveys, and evaluations to measure progress and outcomes effectively.

Conduct routine data verification and validation exercises to uphold and enhance data quality standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports systematically to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation.

We will maintain a systematic log of feedback collected from communities.

Lead the facilitation of learning reviews and reflection sessions to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Deliver technical assistance in Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
