Oversee and execute key duties encompassing project management, team collaboration, and strategic planning to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. Monitor progress through established metrics, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain documentation, including reports, policies, and procedures, to support compliance and operational transparency. Lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies throughout all processes.

Conduct comprehensive audits of store compliance and operations, performing functional tests and targeted reviews as outlined in established programs and plans. Evaluate internal records, policies, and procedures to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Develop thorough and precise work papers to document and summarize the data collected and analyzed during each assignment.

Prepare audit reports for both store and internal operations, documenting findings and observations. Convey audit-related concerns, proposed solutions, and required corrective measures to corporate and functional leadership, along with store management’s responses.

Communicate the outcomes of store audits and prepare comprehensive summaries for distribution to management, along with any additional requested information.

Conduct financial audits, manage the distribution of supplies, and oversee store operations.

Perform comprehensive inventory stock counts and thoroughly analyze any discrepancies, including overages and shortages.

Develop audit findings and training materials, and deliver presentations to new employees as well as other stakeholders when necessary.

Identify and assess potential risks, conduct thorough audit procedures, and pinpoint opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with leadership to design and implement strategic action plans aimed at robust risk mitigation.

Minimize stock shrinkage through proactive measures and consistent oversight.

Stay abreast of evolving legal requirements, emerging industry developments, and established accounting and audit methodologies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Minimum education prerequisites include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, and the ability to interpret complex financial statements. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a solid understanding of GAAP or IFRS standards.

First, obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting to qualify for this role.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in the specified field.

A postgraduate degree, specifically an M.Sc. or MBA, would be considered a beneficial asset.

Chartered Accountants (ICAN) hold a professional qualification, ensuring expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial reporting and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing and examining financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, providing strategic financial advice, and conducting audits. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
