Job responsibilities:
Produce comprehensive, insightful, and targeted research on credit trends, including forward-thinking analyses of corporates, sub-national entities, and non-bank financial institutions.
Establish yourself as a trusted expert on your assigned corporate portfolio and the evolving dynamics within corporate sectors.
Conduct comprehensive credit assessments on a diverse portfolio encompassing Nigerian corporates, sub-national entities, and non-bank financial institutions. Prepare and deliver detailed findings to relevant committees for review and decision-making.
Acquire a comprehensive grasp of applicable methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in their practical implementation.
Diligently track advancements and validate the precision and predictive quality of ratings.
Develop and sustain strong, professional relationships with fixed-income investors, financial media representatives, and senior executives from corporate organizations.
Operate with autonomy while collaborating with the broader analytical team to strengthen the Corporate franchise by cultivating and expanding relationships with pivotal external stakeholders.
Candidate must possess a minimum of five years of pertinent experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to deliver measurable results. Additionally, candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management systems, and exceptional problem-solving abilities are essential. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to collaborate effectively across teams.
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a discipline directly aligned with the field, or possess an equivalent academic qualification.
A minimum of three years of specialized experience in a related field is required.
A professional qualification in ACA, ARCA, CFA, or CIA would provide a significant advantage to the candidate.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
