This initiative is designed to engage individuals with disabilities, their families, and broader community networks, alongside state and local government ministries, departments, and agencies, Civil Society Organizations—including Disabled Persons’ Organizations (Duos)—women and girls, Community Health Workers, and community members throughout Kofi State.
This initiative serves as a strategic effort to enhance the capabilities of Odds, CSOs, FBS, government stakeholders, and media platforms in Kofi State, enabling them to effectively comprehend and apply disability laws through a structured, multi-sectoral, and Community-Based Inclusive Development strategy aimed at reinforcing awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.
The role encompasses comprehensive financial management responsibilities as a Finance Officer, involving oversight of fiscal operations, budget preparation, and financial reporting ensuring organizational integrity and compliance. Key duties include analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting audits to uphold transparency. The position requires proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the Finance Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is essential, along with relevant professional certifications and experience in financial management.

Essential
A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience is required, along with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
A recognized professional qualification, such as ACA, CNA, ARCA, or CIA, or an equivalent foreign credential, would be highly beneficial.
A comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting processes is required.
Proficiency with financial software systems, including QuickBooks and Promise, is essential for this role.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, with extensive experience in leveraging its advanced functions, data analysis tools, and automation features to streamline processes and derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in financial and tax regulatory frameworks is essential for this position. A comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and standards in these domains is required to ensure compliance and support strategic decision-making.
Proven expertise in analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis is essential for this role.
