Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include managing financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, as well as leading financial analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and experience in financial reporting and audit preparation. Additionally, they will demonstrate leadership in driving process improvements and collaborating across departments to enhance financial performance.

A remuneration package of N1,500,000 per annum is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all reporting is precise and fully compliant with applicable regulations, encompassing consolidated accounts.

Deliver strategic Corporate Finance guidance to drive and assess investment initiatives.

Accurate preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the group is essential, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational needs. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling tools to deliver reliable projections. By maintaining precise financial records and conducting thorough variance analyses, the position supports informed decision-making and sustainable growth across the organization.

Develop precise financial models and cash flow projections to facilitate finance requests made by the project team for any group investment.

Oversee the thorough execution of tax audits, monthly filings, and strategic tax planning initiatives across the entire organization.

Guarantee the timely completion of annual statutory audits in strict adherence to regulatory deadlines and relevant requirements.

Requirement

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with qualifications such as ICAN, ARCA, CIA, CFA, or an equivalent field, is required.

A minimum of eight to ten years of professional accounting experience is required.

Reporting Skills, expertise in Financial Modelling and Consolidation Accounting, proficiency in Tax Management, adherence to IFRS Standards, a strong grasp of Tax Law, and solid Corporate Finance Skills are required.

Required competencies include superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently. Candidates must demonstrate leadership qualities, adaptability in dynamic environments, and a strong commitment to team collaboration. Proficiency in relevant software tools, analytical methodologies, and industry-specific regulations is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational talents, a results-driven mindset, and the capacity to meet stringent deadlines under pressure.
