Support roles encompass a range of responsibilities, including maintaining efficient office operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring seamless communication among team members. Additionally, the position involves handling administrative tasks such as document preparation, data entry, and record-keeping to uphold organizational workflows. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software are essential, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with various departments is often required to facilitate project completion and support executive functions as needed.

Process approved daily financial transactions by managing payments and disbursing funds accordingly.

Assist with compiling and preparing fund requests to facilitate operational activities.

Maintain precise documentation and logs for cash advances, travel advances, and expense reports.

Assist in the compilation of withholding tax schedules as well as the preparation of associated statutory documentation.

Prepare and manage invoices utilizing the Oracle Accounts Payable system for accurate and timely processing.

Provide support for monthly financial calculations and ensure the prompt entry of financial data into the Oracle system.

Offer technical assistance for Oracle-based invoice processing, oversee the management of received funds, and perform additional administrative duties within the finance department.

Support the preparation and oversight of station imprest accounts.

Assist in reconciling bank statements for all station bank accounts.

Prepare financial documentation, including station cash certificates, payment vouchers, and related supporting records.

Address financial queries promptly and deliver responsive support to internal stakeholders and users.

Maintain structured filing systems and oversee the secure custody of financial records along with their supporting documentation.

Execute additional finance and administrative tasks as directed by the Supervisor, including but not limited to budget tracking, expense reporting, and document management.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential, complemented by at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software applications and tools is mandatory, with a strong emphasis on analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with project management methodologies and regulatory compliance standards is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving industry trends.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, accompanied by at least two years of hands-on experience in a comparable position within a well-organized setting, is required.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Skilled in leveraging information and communication technology (ICT) applications and the Microsoft Office Suite, such as Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, along with other pertinent business software solutions.

Professional experience implementing and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for Oracle applications or comparable financial management platforms, is required.

Aptitude for precise analysis and effective problem resolution, demonstrated by the capacity to accurately interpret financial and operational data.

Exhibits unwavering integrity, upholds the highest standards of professionalism, and maintains strict discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
