Operate machinery and wells in accordance with established operating and safety protocols to fulfill daily production objectives, minimize equipment downtime, and optimize resource utilization.
We are seeking an organized professional to manage a variety of critical tasks with precision and efficiency. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring all processes align with established policies, and resolving issues promptly to maintain productivity. Key duties include preparing detailed reports, coordinating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, and upholding strict compliance with regulatory standards. Duties include fulfilling daily operational goals while maintaining housekeeping standards, ensuring the highest levels of safety, health, environmental compliance, and security protocols.
Engage routinely in daily toolbox meetings as well as mandatory safety meetings, ensuring consistent communication and reporting of safety-related matters.
Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
As an Equipment Care Technician, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, utilizing essential maintenance skills to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Upon detection of any malfunction or failure in alarm systems, emergency protocols, or emergency shutdown mechanisms, immediate notification must be provided without delay. This includes any instances where these critical safety systems are rendered inoperable or compromised.
Ensure precise and comprehensive communication when modifying shift schedules, thereby maintaining the integrity of unit conditions and operational continuity.
Coordinate, oversee, and track maintenance activities in alignment with corrective, predictive, and preventive planning schedules.
Continuously document all pertinent operational incidents and irregularities, including deviations in the work area, equipment functionality, or personnel conduct, in the log book.
Collect product samples for comprehensive laboratory analysis and conduct detailed field laboratory tests.
Take an active role in emergency response initiatives, contributing to all aspects of incident management and coordination. Engage directly in emergency preparedness, response planning, and crisis mitigation efforts to ensure timely and effective intervention. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute emergency protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain readiness to respond to various emergency scenarios, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and operational standards.
Document and communicate any incidents internally, ensuring adherence to the Incident Reporting Guidelines for appropriate escalation and awareness.
Ensure the Operations Shift Supervisor is kept apprised of all operational activities and consulted as necessary to facilitate informed decision-making.
Foster clear and consistent communication within the team to promptly identify, discuss, and resolve issues or action items effectively.
Deliver comprehensive insights into operational challenges affecting well performance, including current production metrics and the overall condition of the well.
Conduct a comprehensive and detailed evaluation of well problems to confirm full understanding before initiating any Well Work intervention operations.
Prior to Well work operations assuming control of the well for intervention activities, it is essential to verify that the wellhead and all associated surface equipment are properly maintained and fully operational.
Deliver dependable assistance and support to Well work operations as required, ensuring seamless continuity and efficiency in all activities.
Requires proficiency in project management methodologies, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal skills for effective team leadership. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent experience, supported by at least three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, along with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, is essential. Familiarity with data analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration is also required. Candidates should exhibit problem-solving aptitude, adaptability to evolving project demands, and a commitment to continuous professional development to ensure sustained success in this dynamic role.
Hold a secondary education qualification and possess prior experience as a Field Technician.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in conveying information clearly and professionally, ensuring understanding and engagement with diverse audiences. Additionally, the ability to articulate ideas concisely and adapt communication styles to various contexts is required.
Maintains an exceptional commitment to safety, health, and environmental practices, while fostering a culture of these principles among colleagues and teams.
Minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience is required.
Demonstrates extensive expertise in the management and execution of pipeline operations, encompassing both technical and procedural aspects. Possesses a deep understanding of pipeline systems, workflow optimization, and adherence to industry standards and safety protocols. Applies this knowledge to ensure efficient, reliable, and compliant pipeline performance in alignment with organizational objectives.
Proficient in safety and operations management tools and processes, with a deep understanding of their application and integration.
Possesses comprehensive understanding of Emergency Preparedness Procedures across various scenarios.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of project philosophy and design specifications.
Proficient in pertinent regulatory frameworks and compliance standards within the relevant industry, ensuring adherence to all applicable legal and professional requirements.
Proficient in relevant commercial contracts.
