Job Summary
A highly skilled and meticulous Tailor is sought to enhance our distinguished fashion team, bringing a blend of creativity and precision to every project.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep enthusiasm for fashion trends, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and the skill to translate ideas into tangible designs via sketching, pattern development, and garment assembly.
The chosen candidate will craft meticulously detailed, high-quality men’s garments, both autonomously and with precision.
Responsibilities:
Create innovative garment designs, progressing from initial conceptualization to final production stages.
Develop comprehensive production sketches with meticulous attention to detail.
Perform comprehensive market research to maintain awareness of the latest trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and methodological advancements in the industry.
Ensure all completed garments are delivered punctually and in accordance with established deadlines.
Responsible for conducting fittings and executing any required modifications to patterns as needed.
Requirements
A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science, Technical Diploma, or an equivalent qualification is required.
With a minimum of one to ten years of experience in tailoring, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in garment construction, alterations, and custom fitting.
Exceptional proficiency in hand sketching techniques is required.
Demonstrated capacity to meet stringent deadlines while simultaneously overseeing and executing multiple projects with precision and efficiency.
High levels of creativity and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Articulate communication and a client-focused approach are essential when engaging with customers.
Ability to swiftly grasp and accurately interpret design specifications is required.
