The Company Driver will ensure the secure and timely transportation of passengers and goods using a variety of company vehicles, such as Hi ace buses and standard saloon cars.
The position demands a meticulous, dependable professional with a strong commitment to safety, proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles while maintaining company fleet cleanliness and operational readiness for daily use.
Oversee and manage key operational duties, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and drive organizational growth. Monitor progress through regular evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Operate company-owned ambulances (Hi ace buses) and saloon cars in accordance with assigned schedules and routes.
Capably and securely maneuver vehicles equipped with manual transmissions.
Guarantee prompt conveyance of personnel, clients, or supplies according to specific needs.
Ensure vehicles remain in optimal working order by performing routine maintenance tasks such as keeping them clean, monitoring fuel levels, and conducting basic non-technical inspections.
Any operational faults, damages, or issues must be reported without delay to ensure prompt resolution and maintain system integrity.
Employ navigation tools, including Google Maps, to determine and optimize routing for maximum efficiency.
Strict compliance with all traffic safety regulations and established organizational driving guidelines is mandatory.
Maintain a professional appearance throughout the workday; company-issued T-shirts will be provided for use.
Ensure a consistently polite and professional demeanor throughout all work-related interactions and duties.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required
• Experience with financial analysis and budgeting is essential
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory
• Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is preferred
Experienced company or professional driver with a track record of safe and reliable transportation services.
Capable of operating both large manual transmission vehicles, specifically Hi ace buses, and saloon cars with proficiency.
A valid driver’s license is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of Lagos’ road networks and common routes.
Proficient in utilizing Google Maps for route planning and navigation purposes.
