We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Driver Administrator to enhance the management of drivers and fleet operations within our vehicle leasing and logistics enterprise. The successful applicant will oversee the coordination of driver schedules, maintenance of driver records, adherence to transport regulations, monitoring of vehicle utilization, and provision of administrative assistance to the transport operations team. Candidates should possess substantial experience in fleet, transport, or logistics administration, along with a thorough understanding of the Lagos road network and compliance requirements.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, while identifying opportunities for process improvements across teams. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline operations and enhance productivity, ensuring clear communication of goals, deadlines, and performance expectations. Oversee the organization and management of daily operations, schedules, and task allocations for company drivers.

Maintain precise documentation of driver-related information, such as licenses, certifications, guarantor details, training records, and disciplinary actions.

Oversee driver attendance, trip logs, fuel consumption, overtime hours, and route efficiency to ensure optimal operational performance.

To guarantee adherence to company policies, traffic regulations, safety protocols, and legal mandates, all drivers must comply with established standards.

Collaborate with the fleet and maintenance teams to communicate vehicle faults, service schedules, and periods of downtime.

Monitor vehicle distribution, usage patterns, and relocation activities to enhance the efficiency of logistics processes.

Conduct thorough inquiries into incidents, traffic violations, customer complaints, or accidents involving drivers, and compile detailed reports based on findings.

Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and documentation of drivers, as well as conducting periodic performance reviews.

Assist with the development and coordination of route plans and dispatch schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery and service operations.

Compile and submit regular administrative and operational reports for management on both a weekly and monthly basis.

Maintain clear and consistent communication channels among drivers, operations personnel, clients, and management to facilitate seamless coordination and alignment.

Uphold exemplary standards of professionalism, customer service, and safety in all driver operations.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management and cloud computing.
