Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 16, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE, a globally recognized humanitarian and development organization, operates in over 50 countries worldwide, including Nigeria, where it actively combats the root causes and consequences of hunger. Established in 2010, ACF Nigeria has been at the forefront of mitigating chronic food insecurity and malnutrition across Northeast Nigeria, particularly in response to a severe humanitarian crisis driven by factors such as insecurity, mass displacement, natural disasters, climate variability, and economic instability.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with partners BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE, has been executing the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) program, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past 24 months, this initiative has delivered critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities across four Local Government Areas (Gas) in Born State—Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga. The program has positively impacted the lives of approximately 714,045 individuals throughout its implementation.

The primary aims of these initiatives are to achieve specific, measurable outcomes that align with organizational goals. Each project is designed to deliver tangible results within set timelines, ensuring efficient resource utilization and measurable impact. Strategic planning and execution are central to their success, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions. Clear objectives and defined milestones guide the teams throughout the process, fostering accountability and driving continuous improvement.

Enhanced health and nutrition services are implemented to significantly lower rates of illness and death.

Strengthening household food security is achieved by delivering unconditional food or cash assistance to populations affected by conflict, both during lean and off-lean seasons.

Integrative WASH interventions are implemented to fortify the resilience of households, communities, and systems in Born, enabling them to withstand external shocks effectively.

Enhanced protection services are made available to impacted communities, thereby fostering resilience at the local level.

ACF, in collaboration with its partners, advances food security, enhances access to quality health and nutrition services, and strengthens the resilience of at-risk populations through its cross-sectoral initiatives. The organization’s primary objective is to bolster nutrition security, lower mortality and morbidity rates—particularly among children under five—and foster community empowerment for sustainable thriving.

ACF Nigeria, following 20 months of project execution, aims to create a documentary highlighting the progress and impact of its efforts within communities in Born State under the ENRICH initiative. To achieve this, the organization is seeking an experienced service provider, including journalists, video photographers, or digital documentary producers, with expertise in documentary production within these communities, particularly in Born State. The coverage will span Born and Lobe States in Nigeria’s North-East region.
