Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 17, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE, a global humanitarian and development organization, actively combats the root causes and consequences of hunger across more than 50 countries worldwide, including Nigeria. Since its establishment in 2010, ACF Nigeria has been dedicated to alleviating chronic food insecurity and malnutrition in Northeast Nigeria, addressing the acute humanitarian crisis triggered by factors such as insecurity, displacement, natural disasters, climate change, and economic instability.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with partners BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE, has been executing the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) program. Funded by the U.S. Department of State, this initiative delivers critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities across Born State, with a focus on Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga Local Government Areas (Gas). Over the past 24 months, the program has positively impacted the lives of approximately 714,045 individuals.

The primary aims of the projects encompass the following key deliverables, ensuring alignment with both strategic and operational objectives. These initiatives are designed to achieve measurable outcomes while fostering innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth within the organization. Each project will be executed with a structured approach, incorporating best practices to mitigate risks and maximize impact. The goals include, but are not limited to, enhancing performance metrics, optimizing resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement across all functional areas.

Enhanced health and nutrition services are implemented to effectively lower rates of illness and death.

Household food security in conflict-affected populations is enhanced by delivering unconditional food or cash assistance during both lean and off-lean seasons.

We enhance integrated WASH responses to strengthen the resilience of households, communities, and systems in Born, enabling them to withstand shocks effectively.

Populations impacted by crises benefit from enhanced access to protective services designed to strengthen community resilience.

ACF, in collaboration with its partners, employs multi-sectoral approaches to enhance food security, expand access to high-quality health and nutrition services, and strengthen resilience among at-risk populations. The organization’s primary objective is to bolster nutrition security, lower rates of mortality and morbidity—particularly among children under five—and foster community empowerment for sustainable growth.

ACF Nigeria, following 20 months of executing the ENRICH project, aims to create a documentary highlighting the project’s advancements and influence within communities across Born State. In pursuit of this objective, ACF Nigeria is seeking a skilled service provider—such as a journalist, videographer, digital documentary producer, or similar professional—with expertise in documentary filmmaking, particularly within Born State. The project’s geographical scope covers Born and Lobe States in Nigeria’s North-East region.
