Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 16, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE is a global humanitarian and development organization dedicated to addressing the root causes and consequences of hunger across more than 50 countries worldwide, including Nigeria. Since its establishment in 2010, ACF Nigeria has been actively involved in mitigating chronic food insecurity and malnutrition in Northeast Nigeria, particularly in response to the severe humanitarian crisis driven by insecurity, displacement, natural disasters, climate change, and economic shocks.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with its partners BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE, has been spearheading the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past 24 months, this program has delivered critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities across Born State, with a particular focus on Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga Local Government Areas (Gas). The initiative has positively impacted the lives of approximately 714,045 individuals.

The primary aims of the projects encompass the following key deliverables:

Through targeted health and nutrition interventions, efforts are undertaken to significantly decrease morbidity and mortality rates, fostering overall community well-being.

Strengthening household food security involves delivering unconditional food or cash assistance to populations affected by conflict, both during lean and off-lean seasons.

Integrity is maintained in WASH response efforts while enhancing the resilience of households, communities, and systems to withstand shocks in Born.

Enhanced protection services are provided to affected populations, fostering increased community resilience.

Through the implementation of multi-sectoral approaches, ACF and its partners enhance food security, access to improved health and nutrition services, and the development of resilience among at-risk populations. ACF’s primary objective is to bolster nutrition security, decrease mortality and morbidity—particularly among children under five years of age—and foster community empowerment for sustainable thriving.

ACF Nigeria, following 20 months of project implementation, aims to create a documentary highlighting the progress and impact of its initiatives in communities across Born State under the ENRICH project. To achieve this, the organization is seeking a skilled service provider—such as a journalist, video-photographer, or digital documentary producer—with expertise in community-based documentary production, particularly within Born State. The geographical scope of coverage includes Born and Lobe States in North-East Nigeria.
